National Telecommunications
Provider

Strengthening National Broadband Resilience through Predictive Infrastructure.

1. THE CHALLENGE

Managing "Always-On" Infrastructure Expectations

This telecommunications provider manages one of India’s most extensive campus and public Wi-Fi networks, serving major airports, hospitality chains, and over 300,000 residences. Operating across 140+ branches, the organization faced significant engineering and security hurdles:

  • Connectivity Demands: Managing high-speed GPoN traffic (up to 1 Gbps) required a framework that could mitigate latency spikes during periods of peak demand.
  • Infrastructure Blind Spots: The organization sought to identify hardware failures in remote locations before they resulted in reported service outages.
  • Public Access Security Risks: Deploying large-scale public Wi-Fi in high-traffic environments like airports and malls required protection against unauthorized access and potential data breaches without compromising user performance.

2. THE SOLUTION

The Cognitive Network Control Layer

A solution was deployed focusing on improving reliability and security through automated oversight:

  • SynKora (Anomaly-Based Prediction Engine): SynKora was integrated into the core network orchestration. Rather than relying on simple threshold alerts, the system monitored traffic flow heatmaps and signal-to-noise ratios. By identifying patterns indicative of failing hardware, the system assisted in predicting fiber degradation or hardware failures, often hours before a service interruption occurred.
  • Aegistruct (Adaptive Access Control for Public Wi-Fi): To secure widespread public Wi-Fi deployments, Aegistruct’s control nodes were implemented. This helped ensure that every guest session was behaviorally vetted in real-time, contributing to improved defense against "Man-in-the-Middle" attacks while maintaining high-speed throughput for the end-user.

3. THE OBSERVED RESULTS

Supporting Autonomous Network Management. The deployment supported a transition from reactive troubleshooting toward a more proactive operational model:

35%

Reduction in critical incidents allowing maintenance before users were affected.

99.9%

High uptime consistency mitigating possible SLA penalties and support overhead.

Lower Churn

Improved subscriber retention supporting the provider's continued growth objectives.

Compliance

Security alignment for sensitive government and hospitality sector partnerships.
